Yeah it is, my bad! It’s in the body of the post and I forgot lol

I’m conflicted here
On one hand, I play GTA Online, and the amount of hackers is getting out of hand. Most are chill, some are extremely annoying and blow up everyone in the lobby with 800 million explosions a second. In this case, I’m annoyed that I can’t play it and glad there’s anti cheat.
On the other hand, I didn’t realize that BattlEye would prevent Linux users from playing entirely. I’m not a Linux user (yet) myself, but that really sucks. Also, rockstar is extremely predatory with the shark cards (it was worse with Red Dead Online!) so they do kinda deserve it as some form of karma for being terrible
Edit: EAC -> BattlEye
I’m pretty sure you can get cell data on iPads now, it’s pretty interesting that you can’t make calls with them even when they have sim cards (or eSim)
A quick search says they can only do wifi calling by relaying your iPhone to your iPad
I’m glad your text was that big I almost couldn’t read it

Just read the reviews on Google and you’ll understand
At least with Google messages, you can still send normal SMS if your RCS chat can’t go through. I think there’s an option for it to automatically resend as SMS if RCS fails, too.
I guess there’s no way of knowing if SMS will eventually drop out of fashion, but it would be good to keep around so it probably will stay around as a back up
Edit: well, I didn’t see the other response say basically what I said, oops
That’s the kind of street lamp Windows users used to have, then it was removed and replaced with ads. I use arch btw
All I wanted was for 3/4 of the main characters to be normal Minecraft skins, such as the shrimp series of skins, and the 4th to be some horrendous creation that only Satan himself would use on Minecraft. They then proceed to play bedwars with actual 8 year olds and lose.
Was that too much to ask, Microsoft?!?
“we found your fingerprints on the body”
Yeah I may have reached my hand inside and felt around a little my bad
They tried making SpeedScript but big programming decided it was too fast for its time and shut it down
East Coast cities have people swerving into the other side of the road because they’re texting and driving, and unfortunately I don’t have a button on my car to tell them to put their phones down in English, only car!
And this “TWRP” involves listening to Tupperware Remix Party until your device decides to work again, right?
Hey! As a person who used to use reddit but got tired of how terrible it was then moved to the first Lemmy instance I could find, I… Agree? I’m not really sure.
That thumbnail combined with the “security wasn’t sure if it was their lost pair, or another one someone else lost” is quite the combo
Oh yes, finally!
I had already blocked and reported Gemini as spam in the hopes that it would hide the button (spoiler: it didn’t)
If whoever is managing Messages let this go through, maybe it’s a good sign for other apps potentially removing their forced AI chatbots from where they don’t need to be!
Outside… Watching my neighbor get the mail… Straight up archin it… And by it… I mean my feets
At least when you say certain keywords to your pets they show some emotions!
Try saying “potty?” to an LLM and decoding its response to gauge if it needs to go potty or not, Google!

Absolutely, I was pretty upset when Google added Gemini to their Messages app, then excited when the button (that you can’t remove) was removed! Now I’ve updated Messages again and they brought the button back. Why would you ever need an LLM in a texting app?
Edit: and also Snapchat, Instagram, and any other social media app they’re shoveling an AI chat bot into for no reason
Edit 2: AND GOOGLE TELLING ME “Try out Gemini!” EVERY TIME I USE GOOGLE ASSISTANT ON MY PHONE!!!
I’m American and always thank the staff pretty much no matter where I am, I don’t think I get puzzled looks
Maybe it was the location (I’m in Tennessee, for example) or your accent (assuming you have an Australian accent)
