I vape and I think these disposable vapes are an obscene waste that should not exist. Just get a decent mod, it’s cheaper in the long run anyway
Try Norway. Our electric companies were sold to private investors who sold our electricity to the EU, and then they sold too much so they had to buy it back at exorbitant prices and the public is footing the bill for their dumbassery.
It’s not as bad as it was a year ago but it’s still about 15 times more expensive than it was just 4 years ago.
Kind of like how I unload an entire can of bug spray at the wasp that came into my house.
As a European this is my only frame of reference.
Cool, thanks for the tip!
I’ll just build my own cell tower and become my own ISP, checkmate
If they’re decreasing their production, it could mean that physical media is ending. If so, that fucking sucks because you can’t own anything anymore
Sony owns the blu-ray format. I’m worried.
In Europe you can usually download an app for the public transit in that specific country/city. However, Google Maps is the only one that will show you how to get to a specific address (not just the train/bus station).

You don’t need to ban tipping. Several countries don’t have a tipping culture and that’s because the waiters are paid adequately for their work. Tipping is seen as a bonus after exceptionally good service.
The US should raise the minimum wage for restaurant workers and not make it the customer’s responsibility to make sure the waiter can pay their rent.
That is actually a lot closer to the Icelandic one, except the F sounds more like a V and -röst rhymes with bust.
As an Icelander, the pronounciations of the nordic names in Marvel movies crack me up. Especially Bifrost (which they pronounce “bi-frost” instead of 'bif-rost", and Laufey (pronounced very differently, also a decidedly female name).
Assuming it doesn’t result in a nuclear war. Both nations have enough nukes to wipe all life off the face of the earth.
I went on a 2 week holiday earlier this year and I barely took a single picture lol
That’s definitely the case since I can’t read Chinese lol
That’s super interesting! I barely know any Chinese and probably just assumed the characters were for language instead of numbers.
The public transit system used arabic numbers (maybe as well as the Chinese characters?), so at least that was easy to navigate lol
When I went to China about 5 years ago, all the numbers were Arabic numbers. Not sure if this is a regional thing, or if this is a more recent development.

My mind immediately goes to the Ferengi whenever someone says “females” about women.
