New Balance, and a quick search of their website shows they have like 24 options in your size. I’m only slightly salty that I only get 6 options in my size and width.

Have you ever considered taking up martial arts and fighting Sun Wukong?
In all seriousness, I have very wide feet and also cannot purchase shoes in store, but I found a manufacturer that sells extra, extra wide shoes and I just buy directly from them.
I think the simple answer is tone. Just as a silly moment can undercut drama and the serious tone, a serious page in an otherwise light-hearted comic is jarring.
Imagine if Garfield and Jon had a moment where Jon confides in Garfield that he has cancer and he is worried it may be fatal; without some sort of punch line to lighten the moment it would feel sad, dark, and foreboding which goes against the tone set by the rest of the comic.
4GW per hour, 24 hours a day would be 96GWh per day.
One statistic I found said that it takes 2.97 acres to make 1GWh of power over a year. Converting that to GWh per day per acre gives me 0.000922.
Dividing the 96GWh by 0.000922 gives me ~104,121.48 acres or ~402 sq. miles.
Does that also remove the need to poop and piss?
I have a vague memory that the original show from Japan had a man in the yellow costume and when it was adapted for American audiences they wanted yellow to be a woman. This lead to a effectively trans character because of an occasionally noticeable bulge.
Chevron allowed to fuck up Louisiana coastline for $740 million.
Because the British drawing perfectly straight lines has never caused problems for other countries.
When you quit the game, you lose. When the game quits instead, you win.
I think that is actually pretty common. If not, your DNS queries would need to go through your ISP and they could interpret what you are doing from them. You could manually configure DNS settings to route to a trusted source, which could address both.
Alt text is there to provide all alternative for the visually impaired. A good rule is that it should provide as good of an experience as anyone else would get. Given how complex this image is, a separate text write-up would be more useful, so don’t sweat it.
Filters; opt-out of negativity. I switched to Voyager from Boost because it supports filters and I can just blacklist topics that cause me stress. Anywhere I can just stop a topic from ever entering my perception, the better. A single bad headline may ruin my mood for hours from just a glance, better to never get the chance.
Subscriptions; opt-in to the topics and news you care about. Find a good source that offers curated feeds instead of a firehouse of everything. You can only care so much, so use that attention sparingly on things that deserve it.
Avoid algorithms. They are designed to keep your attention on them and outage is good at that. Save your health, find it yourself.
Community. Find people, groups, or organizations that have a similar mindset and share good content with them. If they share good content in kind, you all can improve your state of mind.
Assuming I’m the same person I am today, then I would probably want to know more. “Dangerous” isn’t a cause it’s an effect; I want to know why it’s dangerous. Then I want to know what can be done to change that.
B&H is one of my favorite vendors, but god damn do they go overboard with the air cushions in their packages.
An easy answer as it is not for a mortal to decide which gods are deserving, rather the gods must decide by whomever survives.
5 day weeks, 6 weeks per months for 30 days each, 12 months in a year, 5-6 days of celebration of the new year.
I love the idea of working 3 days and being off for 2.
I went to a game for the first time a few years ago. I recall the moment where everyone was sitting around and not doing anything because they were waiting for the commercials to finish. It felt like watching actors drop their characters the moment they step out of the spotlight.
“Another day in paradise.” “We’re going alright.” “Looking forward to [Quitting time/the weekend/heading home]” “Nothing worth complaining about.”
You know, if you spent your entire life living underground and never saw the sky, you’d never worry about silly little things like asteroids crashing into the planet and killing everyone.
It doesn’t mean you’ll survive any better, you just get to die ignorant.
Fucking gross. Maybe it’s the 250+ audiobooks I have influencing me, but the very best ones I’ve listened to transcend just turning words into sound. Sound effects, music, tone, emotion, accents, sarcasm, and god damn BLOOPERS all improve the experience beyond just hearing what is written down.
I’m against it, fuck that literal noise.
