I don’t disagree at all, and in fact I think those are a great few reasons why we’re not organizing.
But, I feel like right now, all it would take was knowing other people were there and more people would start to show up.

Then maybe it is time to stop being peaceful about it. It obviously doesn’t work, so maybe they’ll listen if we start breaking shit.

I’ve seen dozens of people, including myself, wondering why there’s no one in the streets over this, it’s a long weekend for a lot of people too.
Honestly, DC is a 10 hour drive for me. If I didn’t think I’d be the lone idiot protesting I’d be on my way because I’m off until Monday.
But there’s safety in numbers. One person in the street will get arrested and end up as a footnote in the local papers, a million people might make them notice.

I’m deeply concerned about that.
I’m more concerned that there’s literally no one in the streets over it.

Notice how literally none of these people have any problem whatsoever with any of Trump’s gaffes?
They have no problem whatsoever with Trump’s policies. They have no problem whatsoever with project 2025. They have no problem at all that Donald Trump is 79 years old.
But they have a huge fucking problem with the fact that Joe Biden is two and a half years older than Donald Trump.
You would think if they actually gave a damn about the welfare of the country they would be concerned about Donald Trump in the least, yet crickets.

The world would be a genuinely better place if Trump fell over dead before the election, I want a better world, therefore I DO wish the worst stroke medically possible upon Donald Trump.

Considering that it’s the fact that it even exists right now is the concerning part, yes.
The earth is a closed system, just because there’s a very early hurricane half a world away doesn’t mean the climate isn’t being effected everywhere.
For you this could mean an increased amount of warm water moving in through the Gulf stream to the North Atlantic. This will bring warmer waters to the coastal regions of Europe increasing the severity of storms there, until that warmer water causes the Gulf stream to completely collapse plunging Europe into an early ice age.
The weather where this hurricane is does directly affect you where you live.

Unvaccinated people become mutation factories and the disease mutates so that the vaccine is no longer effective, that’s why it’s important to have everyone vaccinated to prevent the outbreak from worsening.
If only 1/2 of people get the vaccine, we’re fucked.
I firmly believe when it comes to serious medical issues like this, personal freedom of choice can just go fuck itself.

It wouldn’t really be “sex work” if they weren’t doing it in exchange for something would it?
Yes, we have currency as a placeholder for trading goods directly but people who perform sex acts for other goods like drugs are just as stigmatized and no currency was involved.
And if people are just having sex with a fun of it then it’s not sex work either, it’s just sex, which is less stigmatized now then it was 30 years ago but it still has a stigma attached to it, otherwise slurs like “skank” and “slut” wouldn’t exist.

I understand I’m voting for Kamala Harris with my vote for Biden, but I don’t think she could beat Trump.
There’s a lot of independents still on the fence between Trump and Biden (for some reason) and I think that anyone who’s even entertaining the idea of voting for Donald Trump would never vote for a woman of color.
So, unfortunately because we’re so late in the election year, I think we’ll have to vote for the old white guy to keep the old white felon out of the Whitehouse.
The only silver lining to all of this is that they’ll probably both be dead before the next election and we can firmly remember to take age into account in the next primary if Biden wins.
If Trump wins there won’t ever be another primary or general election and I think a lot of people lose focus on that because Biden is 2½ years older than Trump.
