Btw, it’s illegal to kill someone for checks notes cutting you in line. Had he wanted to waste the next three hours he could have reported her and if the cops decided to do their job it is a crime. I don’t think that criminal acts gun owners aren’t allowed to do are really part of the “culture” just because criminals sometimes do crime, like, people steal but theft isn’t part of “shopping culture,” y’know?
I fucking love gajim (but I call it Gaijin because it’s funny to me.)
They know they don’t have to really hide anymore, as long as they have Trump to threaten us with, and after that “the next Trump,” they can do whatever they want and get votes.
Oh for sure, it can handle 2160p video on the integrated, and a terminal and browser (with 16gb ram anyway), no problem. It’ll stutter a bit if I am file transferring with all that though.
No fan noise, battery could be better but could be worse, but no external GPU which probably exacerbates both.
I’ve heard people complain, but mine are so quiet I thought they weren’t spinning. I think the difference is the external GPU, which I do not have.
Have 16, FedoraKDE not nixOS though, no problems to report in my sector.
Yeah you have to have a life to lose it doing dumb shit.
Oh you meant kids…yeah…
Idk, depends. I’m a chronic loopholer, I’m definitely the reason for a few rules, and probably the reason for a few signs.
Now, signs that denote someone did something stupid (like you probably meant,) yeah I agree. Oh boy there I go loopholing again.
I have better snacks than popcorn at home, that’s why I don’t have popcorn, but others do buy popcorn at home for making on a stovetop or microwave explicitly for watching movies at home.
I’m not even against using existing IP, like say adapting comics or books, but they need to stick to the source imo and not just be cash grabs, and preferably adapt something creator owned instead of big two, if comics. I am usually against rebooting an old series like alien, and always against remakes like Total Recall.
And I didn’t even mention the fact that practical effects (even bad ones) are my jam and CGI is just lame to me unless used sparingly and well.
I love it! I understand how it goes with the life stuff, I’m just lucky that it worked out really. Definitely keep an eye on them in the future, you can get refurbed and factory seconds of 13s now from https://frame.work/marketplace, so by the next time you’re hunting that may be a decent option for less money! Still pretty expensive, but at least they’re less!
I like my Framework 16’s solution: 6 hot-swappable expansion ports. Only want one USB-C? Get one and 3d print fillers for the other 5 slots or use the expandable memory because why not (other than $). Want an SD or MicroSD? You can get that too, along with 3.5mm, hdmi, USB-A, ethernet, or display ports. Everyone can configure it exactly how they want.
Long legs is one of the like 6 movies I’ve wanted to see since about 2010. Still gonna wait for the torrent though as I mentioned because I don’t feel like selling a kidney for some buncha crunch.
I like it even less as a date idea. I want to talk to my date not sit quietly next to them for 2 hours, and if it is something that will hinder conversation let’s at least go see some live music or a theater production or something like that. Personally I’d rather go to the nearest botanical gardens.
The last movie I saw in theaters was 9 lmao, which came out 09/09/2009. Probably going to stay that way for a good long while, too.
Lol it’s funny to me that theaters think that’s what’ll save them. I don’t go to movies, not because the old seats, but because movies are all terrible remakes and reboots that I don’t want to see, and you have to take out a second mortgage just to be able to afford tickets and snacks. Why would I go? I’ll wait until the torrent pops up if I even want to see it at all, thanks.
Ah well that’s good, at least they didn’t destroy anything then.
Jesse’s Girl. My high school used it daily in an ad for some bullshit they wanted to sell, and my first 10 working years they had a radio on wherever I worked on one of three stations depending, all of which play that song at least (at least) once a day every day. (That’s at least daily and sometimes twice a day exposure to that garbage song for 14 years straight for anyone counting.)
If I hear it come on I will leave the room, and I’ll be back in 3:14. Idgaf where I am. If I have the aux (it won’t be played, but if it somehow does) I’m changing it. If I hit the lotto I’m buying the rights so nobody can play it on the radio and taking it off streaming so I can lessen the likelihood of exposure. I’ll put it for free on itunes or some shit and never strike pirates but for the love of god please don’t play it near me!
It’s learning!
