This is in no way good news, much harder to verify someone’s age if they’re online, let alone other factors. Especially if they can pay with credit cards.

      I must be a part of one of the more vulnerable demographics for gambling because Reddit used to spam me with shitty gambling ads, now YouTube is a part of it

        Clear your app history from your app stores (it’s generally free simulation gambling apps that share your data).

        If you use free simulation gambling apps, only login as a guest as social media logins get instant access.

        Turn off history, suggested and recommend ads for everything: Google, YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, etc. (you’ll need to research that yourself as they’re all too involved for one post but there’s good videos out there).

        Report gambling ads as inappropriate for you.

        They get the message … eventually.
