I feel you there person.
Mine are very old. Of recent, not a day goes by of inner turmoil bubbling up, wanting me to give them a blast with both barrels (figuratively) about a lifetime of emotional neglect. But I just bite my tongue and talk about the weather over phone. It’s some kind of sick martyrdom controlling my emotions so they don’t have to really feel … right to the bitter end.
For me, it was okay. But it won’t truely feel like home until a Bender episode gets to shine.

111·1 year agoBig oil, coal and gas via sympathetic media (read greedy). They have thrown money and pundits at it for so long, not sure they could stop even if they wanted to.
By this point though you’d think they’d pack it up, as blind Freddy can see the writing is on the wall. But I watched FOX roll out Steve Milloy to say the Canadian wildfire smoke was no threat to humans a couple of weeks back. Steve Milloy has been called out as a climate denier since the '90s yet they still use him.

There are many more of them, it’s fun playing spot the denier disguised as an expert in the media but ultimately it is sole destroying knowing how far they have infiltrated and destroyed legitimate science and the public’s perception.

Exactly right. In my neck of the woods the gov is rolling back buy-backs in the 1-4 year flood areas, stating floods of the 2022 magnitude are not anticipated to happen again. So no buy back, uninsurable and repair at your own risk, yet the rental price remains high on unsellable houses.
The real tell is some of the state gov institutions aren’t moving back into the flood prone areas and are looking for permanent higher grounds to move their temporary offices.

Clear your app history from your app stores (it’s generally free simulation gambling apps that share your data).
If you use free simulation gambling apps, only login as a guest as social media logins get instant access.
Turn off history, suggested and recommend ads for everything: Google, YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, etc. (you’ll need to research that yourself as they’re all too involved for one post but there’s good videos out there).
Report gambling ads as inappropriate for you.
They get the message … eventually.
