I think people make games for a video on how these things work. Some of the files used in previous tournaments are available to play around with.

Blender is a swiss army knife, not really comparable, but i’d recommend it over most CAD software if your main focus is 3d printing as most slicer convert to mesh data anyway.

I don’t feel like I’ve seen armature (SCARA?) Based 3d printers in this scale before. I imagine it might be due to it losing reach as it goes on comparison to a gantry? At least without some sort of rising mechanism.

I’ve always found the idea that you are replacing religious faith with science to be ridiculous, it shows a fundamental misunderstanding of what science is. Science does not ask for faith, it plainly lays out the facts and frameworks to be scrutinized. The scrutiny is the point.

I wonder if they took NA to be short for native American. Wouldn’t put it past some people. Not a hard mistake if you’re not familiar with the term.
