The slaves were much better off. Roman empire was a slave empire. That’s the main reason it’s celebrated in our empire. Europeans and the founding slavers of USA looked towards roman slavery as their ideal. Arguing for the roman empire is like saying that USA was better before the Civil War.
Today the worship of this slave empire remains a foundation of white supremacy.

It’s basically the same thing. People cry about crypto being a pyramid scheme without talking about how pyramid schemes are a major foundation of the whole economy. People cry about how crypto isn’t a worthwhile currency while the dollar (ie. paper covered with pictures of slave masters) is constantly losing value.
Good. Electric cars are a completely unsustainable scam. It’s absurd that people are being subsidized for their privileged and wasteful lifestyles. It’s gross and it’s completely unfair to people who actually want to reverse the climate catastrophe.
End car dependency, rebuild sustainable infrastructure, and give people credits for light EVs instead. For every electric car we could build like 1000 electric bikes. I could get a super nice e-bike for $7500.
