Yep that’s me. I’ve already done everything I ever wanted and just being is insufficient.

Lenovo produces what dell wishes it could.
You weigh slightly less but your total mass increases slightly as well.
They are public places with public proceedings. For the most part, you can just go in and sit down and watch a case, assuming there is space.
Yep. Everyone wants blood but can’t get past the fact that there are laws and procedures.
I mean the fix is to vote. If you want justice then we need better leaders. Until then, it’s bullshit all the down. Especially in the South and Midwest.
What he’s lost is reputational. He’s been publicly humiliated in front of the entire community and every person who appears in front of him knows what a sack of shit he is before any proceedings begin. He will never move into a higher position and will languish in traffic court until he quits and takes on a lawyer position somewhere.
Yep. And that would have been legal anyway. This was really about ring-wing zealots being right-wing.
I agree with you fully. This stuff is fun.
Lemmy has a very strong libertarian slant and I think that a lot of people have this perspective that all costs are unreasonably inflated for stuff like this. They can’t see how it could be useful to have standards.
Amazingly people hate this concept, and it’s strange. We all got downvoted for pointing this out.

I was looking for a job in the San Fran area by keyword for a product I am a near expert on. I happened to find a listing for a position that I was qualified for at OpenAI. It was unnecessary and very strange. I ran away and never looked back. Nothing of this surprises me.
LOL this is a pretty common condition. You’re projecting your ignorance without taking a moment to look up the wikipedia article on this disease.
The answer has always been yes.
Look, WA was one of the first states to legalize, just weeks after CO. There was a police officer in Seattle who had to be reassigned because he kept writing tickets to people with weed even though it was legal. The point? Right-wing nuts are antisocial.
I presume that it has to be certified and probably heavily filtered. It’s not going to be the same as what goes into party balloons.
Everyone who grew up with that was finally exposed to a drug setting–a party, some acquaintance, something. They watched these people do the drug and maybe participated out of curiosity and suddenly realized that the whole DARE thing was just a bunch of propaganda that had nothing to do with reality.
Alcohol has ruined far more lives than the drugs the “war” is based on.
You’re not counting the materials costs. I doubt that medical grade helium is cheap.
You’re making the assumption that they can derive pleasure from actions. That may not be the case here.
