8% now. 20 years ago, it was a third of that. If there is profit to be made, profit will be made. It’s also just one small factor in an extremely shitty whole.
The fact prison labour exists at all is an issue. If prisoners truly benefited from it, like a fair wage plus every day reducing their sentence, then I could hold my nose, but as is. Slavery.
This is proof they don’t understand the endgame here. The only (legal) type of slavery left in the United States is prisoner labour. It is not a coincidence that the right wants to make so many things criminal. It’s also not a coincidence they want to keep poor people desperate because it makes them more likely to commit crime. It’s not a coincidence they support minimum sentences.
More crime, more free labour, more for profit prisons selling services…

I’m new to the world of Linux as a main OS, and I ran Mint for a while, wanted to try KDE Plasma, installed and ran it on mint for a while and blew away mint for a distro with KDE Plasma once I knew it’s what I wanted.

I also want something that my wife finds easy. She’s now on her second week, and only one issue which she rebooted and it went away. After that, there is benefit to making mine like hers in case I ever need her to do something when I’m away and don’t have remote access.
Mint. Cinnamon for my wife. Probably the same for me, though I’m debating XFCE.
For me it is. I migrated my wife last week and mine is next week. AI spying is the last straw for me.
That’s what I took it to mean.

How would it crumble? He’s declared bankruptcy so many times, people can’t decide if it’s 4 or 6.
In spite of that, dumb asses think he’s a financial genius.
VMware is not on death row. VMware is already dead. It no longer exists. All that’s left is an entity possessing its corpse.
No. But I should. Probably time to start.
30 instead of 21 if I remember right.
It’s not sad, there is a direct connection.
