Omelettes. So versatile. So good. Of all the combos I love bacon and mushrooms in my american cheese omelettes best of all.
Pancakes are a close second.

Extremely sorry for your loss. What a treasured loved one you got to have. I’m sure he loved you immensely.
I’m with you on the confusion because it’s like… I don’t feel the need to act this way, why do other people? What drives them that, in a void, they resort to these thoughts and behaviors? Is this who they really are, or is it an act, like doing an evil playthrough in a game. “I want to because I can here, and I can’t anywhere else?”
First one is a screencap from Overly Sarcastic Productions. I sadly don’t remember where the second one came from.
I agree.
We’re really fortunate that our cat loves to gnosh on toys that will scrape her teeth; she’s on an all wet diet to help with bowel issues. Of course I still toss her a few greenies treats every other night because she goes nuts for them and it can’t hurt.
I’ve read it and listened to the audiobook and it really is great. Yes there are some dry parts but they bring their signature flare to helping to understand which makes getting through it a lot easier.
I’ve been enjoying Tidal after switching.
Is anyone else completely unable to register on chexsystems? Usually when this happens I can’t tell if it’s because of my privacy settings or a legitimate fuckup on the server’s end.

I’ve been complimented on my voice before, and those aren’t weird compliments. But delivery is important. I had a coworker tell me, “Your voice is great!” And of course I’m thankful. But then deadpan, she goes, “You should do ASMR so I can listen to it.”
Now that was a weird compliment.
Not the above poster but I’ve had dentists share the same sentiment and mostly I’ve heard it’s because the majority of their patients who use it, use it as a replacement for more thorough dental care–they don’t floss and/or brush because they think they’re getting clean enough with the pik. The dentist who told me this basically said, “It’s fine as a supplement after you brush and after you floss, to flush out any lingering debris from those two activities, but it’s really just not worth the time or money.”
We both hung out on a Digimon fansite in high school lol

Love your comment.
I actually got curious and tried to fact check this but then realized I had no way of knowing which sites really offered actual advice to such an inane little fact, or were just making shit up. :(
I honestly don’t know. There are a lot of things that happened in my life that sucked. Things I did or things I didn’t do, and far more that were more or less outside my control. The thing is, is that I keep bumping into really good things in life that probably wouldn’t have happened without going through the crap first. A small example is that I worked a crap job, slowly climbed the ladder a bit, worked… okay but it stagnated. We got bought and at the same time I got a job offer elsewhere. Cool–but that job offer turned out to be an absolute nightmare. I jumped ship immediately and came crawling back to my former job.
A lot of pain, a lot of emotional turmoil, wrapped up in ALL of that. But in the end I wound up making more money than ever, and learning new skills that I’m way more passionate about. So a net win. But I did have to go through crap to get here.
This just keeps happening. Over and over, on small scales and big. So as much as I hate the bad stuff, I probably wouldn’t change a thing. I like the good stuff too much.
I got all the way to the last level once… but never beat it. The lava level man.
