Honestly, because of the EPA regulations, it’s difficult and expensive to make the small trucks that were so popular in the 1980s and 1990s. Tesla could have cleaned up with a simple single-cab electric truck (especially if it came with fleet purchase options). Because of the economics of the situation if it were priced in the 25-35k range it would fly off the manufacturing lines and become the new standard workhorse for local businesses (think plumbers going out to 5-6 calls a day and then charging overnight), plus it would have the added benefit of a “bring your generator to the worksite” stuff.

They’d just have to be willing to strip a lot of the fancy electronic stuff out for manual things (like manual doors, environmental controls etc…).

The primary feature of LLM’s is the hallucination.

LLM’s hallucinate all the time. The hallucination is the feature. Depending on how you design the neural network you can get an AI that doesn’t hallucinate. LLM’s have to do that, because they’re mimicking human speech patterns and predicting one of my possible responses.

A model that tries to predict locations of people likely wouldn’t work like that.

I would fully disagree. We targeted civilians, not in war zones at functions like weddings, funerals and other explicitly civilian gatherings. We (the US) had the intent to kill civilians, and our tolerances for civilian casualties were an order of magnitude larger than what the IDF is using.

If anything it’s not comparable because what we did was worse.

Given that those tools have been leaked since 2016 and the concept is even older; relying on metadata like timezones, character set, etc… to make determinations about location is unreliable at best.

What’s more I think the historical records of economic collectivism outside of Socialism and political Authoritarianism outside of Socialism are numerous and expensive enough to justify an opposition to Communism as a system.

I think the main realization that made me nominally support Capitalism is it’s performance in a “degraded” state. You can have the absolute worst scenarios (think Pinoche Chile) and Capitalism provides constant incentive to improve things and doesn’t seize up in the meantime. It continues to function even in the face of severe inefficiencies.
