I just recently upgraded from an old Samsung 850 EVO 250gb SATA drive to a Crucial P3 1tb m.2 drive for OS and playing games (I have a NAS for any media and file storage)
Lots of m.2 drives are cheap right now

Here are some of my favorites:
- Chrono Trigger
- Diablo II
- Elden Ring
- Final Fantasy <insert number> (and pretty much anything by Nobuo Uematsu)
- Hades (and all of the Supergiant Games soundtracks)
