The sad part is that I bet he couldn’t point to most of those countries on a map

We spent all our public health goodwill on COVID. A sizable portion of the population will never accept any further restrictions for public health reasons. A smaller but still concerningly large portion will not get any new vaccines because of this.
Just as long as “serve” doesn’t mean “pay” because then it’s first come never serve.
You think this will make much difference? It’s not like the current morons with money are doing a bang-up job.
It’s leftie to not like a country aggressively invading another one unprovoked?
Unfortunately when it comes to gambling neither side seems to want any reduction. Sure the libs are saying they’ll allow more pokies, but under Labor we got a huge fucking new casino for “tourism” because the thing that would really set Brisbane apart is a big casino - like every other state capital. They even built that casino at the same time that the casino operators in other states were being found to facilitate money laundering.
Government bribery is by far the best investment any large company can make. The ROI is incredible.
NK will imprison their family if they defect, that’s the main thing keeping people in NK I believe.
Losing an entire generation of productive and reproductive people is not going to do their nation any good.
Will the North Koreans get sufficient rations? It might be no worse than being at home.
I don’t think Frasier would work without Frasier
They are invading a country unprovoked . The country is made up of civilians. Weren’t they breaking international law when the first shot was fired?
Airbnb has a place when you want to rent a larger property. This used to be difficult and complicated. As a general rule I agree though. Airbnb is pretty shit compared to most hotels in most places.
That was my comment about the amount that should be charged. I’ll happily pay $5/mo, but not $15. I’m happy to pay for services, just not the amount that many want to charge.
I pay less than 5usd for a family plan, I just subscribed through a developing nation with a VPN.
If you watch ads instead of paying a modest fee to remove them then you’re a clown. Companies do need to make money for the services they provide, I just disagree with the amount.
We used to use them for the same thing in Kmart (Australia) when I worked there 20 years ago. They were used to clear the float so you didn’t have too much cash in the register. Now that 90% of transactions are on card I bet they don’t use them anymore.
They work in tech, promotions are achieved by moving employers. Internal mobility is always terrible in tech companies.
I spent a lot of time in a few forums in the 00s. Many of them still exist but they are shells of what they used to be. One that I check into once a year or so has about one post per year - and it’s normally a post asking if anyone is still there. The owner keeps it running as a memorial to one of the mods who has passed.
I get that people think that but it’s a stupid take really. Hearing loss is a big contributor to senility.
I tried arguing with an anti COVID vaxer recently and pointed out that in my country there were 14 deaths linked to the vaccine, but over 65M doses administered, which means that you’re significantly more likely to die in the car on the way to get vaccinated than from the vaccine itself - but apparently I’m the fool for trusting government collected figures. I don’t understand how they think the government is hiding all these supposed deaths.
