Lets keep it that way?
Climate change topic aside isn’t this the truth for many things. People are hungry to showcase and market their product and as a result reality takes a backseat. It’s part of the race. If there was no “rat race” would it be like this?
It’s not even limited to products and business. Basically people do all that they can to project what they perceive reality to be, and as a result we are left with a fake world? And we are all responsible, it’s a human fault? And at the same time that fake world is reality…? The base paradox of existentialism?
Wtf is going on in the background?
Just get a web browser that can ad block?
One time I got tailgated by a guy in a tricked out Humvee. I followed him to his parents house.
I also live with my parents. We connected over that and had a few beers.
It’s the decade of remakes.
Also holy shit golden axe.
Humans naturally try to categorize things.
…I think.
It’s almost like a yin and yang thing. Categorizing helps, but at the same time loses focus of the full spectrum.
I think it’s because no one has the time to actually explain themselves which leads to reactionary events. I dealt with this a lot during 2020. Eventually getting hate from everyone. Also these days social media and news etc has everyone drugged up basically.
There’s too much preemptive conversation and not enough reality?
Probably because real life sucks so much.
It’s end-to-end-to-end encryption.
Your data is now encrypted while they mine it.
Tldr?
I don’t like this.
I feel like too many people have kids for no reason… Unplanned and not genuine.
Yes son, we had you because we were bored. The world was in turmoil so we decided to bring you into it because we don’t care if you have to suffer life too.
I’ve thought of it like that before.
But it’s like when I think about politics and human progression or regression in society. There’re a lot of ideological ways to ‘fix’ the world in theory, but if one were to make those ideas plausible reality would have to be completely different. Ime it’s hopeless to have that mindset, it’s a set up for failure and negative social dissonance. But even though I know that… I still find myself doing it.
I can think of great things but at the end of the day it doesn’t change the world or help me.
Wishful thinking is sometimes better in small doses?
Sorry I’m probably way off track. 🫠

Does lemmy have an unethical life pro tips community yet? You’d probably get better results if we did.
