1 year agoIt’s a fucking travesty that Australia can’t do public housing like Singapore’s HDB/CPF, how can people be expected to do anything when their basic needs are not being met 😭 like a roof over your head, what?
I’m also in Tokyo and happy to say that I’ve seen the culture of overtime work changing even over the last 5 years. Young people don’t want to do it. And there’s also the rise of remote/hybrid/flex work that many people don’t want to go back from
Japan is changing and I’m very optimistic about its future!
