Parts of Greece apparently also do tips. Is that new? Seems like it’s leeching into Europe :/

I think it might depend. Chlorine should, but chloramine doesn’t (which I only know because the latter can really mess up home aquariums). Since our water just has chlorine, I leave it out overnight before doing water changes.
Yeah, that is definitely not normal. Never heard anyone say anything like that (western US)
This is changing! More and more places in the western US are going to euro-style stalls, or fully gender neutral bathrooms that are entirely walled in. Much, much better. I can’t speak for the other parts of the US.
I was fascinated by glass stalls in Greece. I’ve never seen those before (opaque glass, but still, you could make out shapes). Lots of glass in general, such as highway soundproof barriers, balconies, etc. Much more so than I’m used to seeing. We tend to use a lot more metal or sculpted concrete.
Most of these vary by state, save for enthusiasm, jaywalking, and the national parks, which are universal, haha. My Canadian bf is amused by how excited I get to go biking/skiing/other outdoor activities :)
I’m assuming fast food or restaurant food? Some of us definitely agree with you.
Yeah, the Toto C2 or whatever micro revision it is this year. Same toilet lid, about $330 ish dollars. Lifechanging for men and women, especially once you realize it has an oscillating mode for washing.
I don’t use TP at all anymore, it’s just there for guests who feel uncomfortable.
You gotta use washcloths or scrubbers on your body! In conjuction with soap, that will help remove dead skin, dirt, sweat, etc.
Towels one week. Bedding and pillow cases every two weeks. Pillows every 3 to 6 months, or if they start to smell kinda musty, whichever comes first. A little bleach helps keeps my bedding and towels super clean.
Russia is just pushing their thoughts and beliefs on poorer countries to radicalize them and extract wealth from them, whether that’s politcal capital for stuff like UN votes, or raw materials and valuable resources. I wouldn’t be surprised if they started building them ports and railyards with financial strings attached to help them funnel resources towards Russia. Instead of more valuable things like schools, hospitals, and sewage treatment facilities in impoverished areas.
They don’t really make much of a difference, imo. There are wearable products out there that can add a texture difference, but they are incompatible with condoms if you are trying to reduce the risk of STDs.
That said, there are many ways to spice up sex in new and fun ways, even outside of condom choice :)
While true, it’s way better better for a power source to be inefficient than all consumers using inefficient/dirty appliances.
Once the aging coal plant is decommissioned in favor of a new nuclear reactor in a state like Wyoming, anyone using stuff like electric water heaters, heatpumps or electric bikes/buses/cars/scooters is instantly using 100% renewable power.
Even in screwed up states like Texas, there is so much load on the grid (and the fact they cannot buy power from other states) means that cheap solar panels, battery storage and wind are way faster to put up than expensive methane/natural gas generators.
The Phillipines needs to put down a few sea mines with Phillipine flags on top. Nobody would be stupid enough to run those over.
We have two rates, this is if you are using over 10kwh per day, the maximum rate: $0.1372 per kwh
It might also be for a radiator to cool the battery and/or act as a heat pump for the AC/heat. At least, I hope they are using a heatpump.
Just buy a PC, it will last longer and you can do a lot more with it. The PS6 will probably be even more expensive.
GaaS has made gaming so boring. Fun for like, two months. But with no story and tons of nerfs, they quickly become rather samey feeling. I miss the Halo 2 days where games had a story. Or genuine innovation, like Rocket league, and its ability to be cross platform. That was GaaS done right, until Epic bought them and fucked it all up.
Vote blue for congress this November. We need to get Dejoy out, he’s a fucking traitor.
He did not, the president cannot remove him because of the board that controls the position. It requires congress to change, and congress is not majority blue, so we just have traitors still installed who are actively doing damage to the US.
Depends on the state, but biking can be legitimately faster in cities with gridlock traffic. Particularly if there are biking greenways. I unintentionally beat friends back from a beach after they hailed a taxi, and I ebiked the ~3km home. In their defense, the terrain is extremely hilly, and some of them aren’t super comfortable on the city ebikes.
