I almost feel bad for you guys. You guys are gonna feel old a lot sooner than I did. The way I spoke was still relevant at least until I was 23ish and then slowly tapered off.

I get your point. But at the same time the first step to convincing someone of your own opinions isn’t to be an asshole. I’ve known these people since long before Trump was even campaigning for the first time. Is he wrong and kind of an asshole? Yes he is. He used to make fun of me for wearing masks during the pandemic. But at the end of the day we still bullshit and play online video games together all the time and go camping every year.
I’m not going to be able to change anybody’s opinion by insulting them and making them feel stupid. I’m going to treat them like people. Misguided people, but still people.
My friends that are republican. They even voted for Trump. We just don’t talk about politics too much these days. At least until recently with this whole “Project 2025” because we both agree it’s fucking ridiculous.
They’re here too. I’ve run into a few brand new accounts that are only commenting on posts like this. Like, accounts that are less than a day old trolling on every political post you can find.
I’m glad people are actually reading it. Or at least googling it and seeing what it’s all about. I read that shit back when it first came out and have been trying to get people I know to read it too. Especially to my republican friends that care about the kinda stuff that’s in that dumpster fire.

After over 1,000 hours in that game, I left my negative review a couple years ago and quit forever. The predatory monetization eats away at the fun. Slowly at first, but building up over time. It’s just been bad decision after bad decision since the game came out. You slowly start to realize the game you’ve been playing isn’t even fun anymore and you only play for the new cosmetics for fear of missing out. Daily challenges, weekly challenges, seasons, events, limited time game modes, premium skins, loot boxes, special legendary cosmetics for those that spend the most, vaulting content for a false sense of scarcity and slow progression. And now after all this, the one thing people could get from a one time purchase (if they grind hard enough) is gone. Honestly, I’d leave another negative review if I could.

That was one of My favorite things about Crunchyroll. I love going through the comments after finishing a series and seeing what others were thinking. I know anime fans can be pretty crazy, but I very rarely saw toxic comments. It was mostly people talking about a shared experience and was surprisingly wholesome the majority of the time. I even got some good recommendations about what to watch next because of it too
If my kids did that I’d be perfectly fine with them getting kicked out of school or even if the teachers wanted to press charges. I know teachers can be shitty but this is completely uncalled for unless they were actually doing those things

Their researchers say this just days after people were talking about them secretly updating their privacy policy to allow them to steal your shit for AI. I honestly wanna start pirating everything, even the stuff I don’t need to, just because if they can steal my shit without my consent I should be able to steal theirs. When it comes to protesting like this I don’t really give a shit if someone paints over parts of a building. But the books themselves? That’s just fucked up. I understand they are trying to get people pissed over this but this is entirely the wrong way to do it. All this will do is make everyone pissed off at you instead. I’d say a good rule of thumb for protest graffiti is whether or not it can still be used after it’s been covered in paint. Graffiti on a wall doesn’t make the wall unusable. But if someone put graffiti on the windshield of my car I’d be so pissed off I wouldn’t give two shits about the message.
If you read that whole section in that whole “project 2025” disaster they actually say that they want to outlaw porn entirely and imprison anyone that makes porn because it’s “infected with transgender propaganda” or whatever. My new go to response for people saying they are gonna vote for Trump is asking if they watch porn. I quickly realized the majority of people that are voting for Trump that are my age don’t even know the contents of Project 2025.
It’s crazy how fatal falls can be for ANYONE. Seriously. I’ve seen people fall off a 4 foot ladder and have it be fatal. Or slip on ice. Or just trip on something. I’m also a kinda tall clumsy person so I think about this a lot too. Plus I’ve taken OSHA classes on fall protection which only made it worse. :)
If only it were that easy I totally would. Trust me I’ve tried looking into it before.
