Who chose this color scheme? Is that what being colorblind feels like?

It would sure be nice. Mazda was the first automaker I heard of that was rejecting touch screen controls and made it clear they were sticking to physical dials. (probably not the first to make such a deceleration, but the first I heard of.) A Mazda EV would be pretty nice.
