  • Yet still only four face buttons. I don’t know why every controller manufacturer in existence refuses to bring back 6 button pads, even Valve. Instead they all just copy each others’ designs. Even Nintendo—once known for being innovative—is guilty of this. The Switch/Switch 2 Pro controller is literally just a crappy XBOX controller with crappy digital triggers.

Also I’m not a fan of symmetrical joysticks. The left stick is used way more than the D-Pad, and as such, should be placed where the left thumb naturally lies, instead of the D-Pad. I’ll eventually get used to it but I don’t like it.

  • Wish I could but I can’t stand neither beans nor rice. Gotta have meat and green veggies in my meal.

That means that I only like chili without beans. At Asian restaurants I always ask for no rice and substitute noodles. The only beans I can tolerate are refried. So at Mexican restaurants I ask for no rice and double beans.

While we’re at it, I don’t like potatoes, either. I’ll eat them, but I won’t go out my way to order them, unless the alternative side dish selection is no better.

Edit: FWIW I’ll eat it all if I’m hungry, but none of these things would be my first choice.

  • I was being sincere. Thank you.

As someone in their late 30s with a recent diagnosis, I’m beginning to learn just how stigmatized my condition is. It’s beyond frustrating when I get dismissed as just being lazy by even my own friends and family.

    [Incoming Rant]

Nobody understands the struggle unless they have it. They don’t seem to understand that it’s a lot more than just forgetfulness and an inability to process long blocks of text. It is a full-blown disability that has been holding me back from reaching my full potential. Hell, I didn’t even move out of my parents’ house until my 30s due to my condition. Even other people with ADHD don’t seem to understand that there’s different levels of severity, and I’m on the more extreme end of the spectrum.

So again, thank you for being kind.
