I have the same large Dutch oven and we use that and a cast iron pan for basically everything. I envy your le creuset collection we barely have space for the Dutch oven!

Nooo, can we just actually put someone useful in the position and see how that will help and improve things?
Well it always is down to something like that, but how depressing. I always think, just how much money do you need?
Also if you are a great business person, why not diversify in what clearly needs to be future tech and infrastructure?
Why are we still pushing for coal mines? I would have thought australia would be ideal for solar in certain places.
I think keeping it in people’s minds is useful. Otherwise it’s easy to get wrapped up in your day to day life. I’ve found that climate stories are often under reported here or categorised as another issue.
Agreed, basically what I live off anyhow. But then it is leaf water, so unsure if the rules would allow!
Oh that’s a shame, it was great being able to split tasks between 2 of you
Thanks for letting me know, can’t wait to play it!
I didn’t realise it had already been released. Definitely getting the game ASAP. The couch coop of the last game was great, hopefully it’ll be the same/similar for this one
I’m with you, I’ve started referring to it with this name. It’s apt, we’re in a current crisis not a situation that we will only see effects from generations from now. I talk to a lot of people who seem to think this is a next generation problem, even the current young generation.
I really hope this isn’t the case but I have a feeling you might be right. Why don’t we act preemptively instead of firefight (literally in this case) after the fact.
Era of global boiling sounds very reassuring. When are our policy makers going to actually start acting?
I think you can have cultures, cities and places built to encourage non car use. We have a lot more of it here in the UK, especially with public transport. It doesn’t seem quite so simple with the sheer distances in a lot of America.
We do need to build lives that are compatible with a healthy environment and life.
Pretty much panicking, funnily enough I’d resigned myself (still tried to life a green life) until having kids, but you’ve got to try and do everything you can otherwise what future are we giving them?
I completely understand the sentiment, and it is very frustrating living in the greenest way you can and it not seeminging to make a dent. But we can only really impact our circle of influence and control around us.
We have seen change on the economic level, if you look at the rise of dairy free milks a d plant based foods, 5 years ago they weren’t main stream and now they are. All we can do is try and push the small changes with our wallets and hope to see the chnage to economies. As more people talk about climate change and write to their representatives the more these issues will be pushed to the fore as politicians will see them as important.
I have no idea if any of this change will happen soon enough, but I don’t think the alternative is acceptable.
I think we all know rapid change is possible if the right motivators are there. Not sure how you get people and legislators to make the rapid change we need.
A few things we can do as individuals is fly less, eat less meat, drive less (where possible).
On a larger scale, write to your representatives, and vote for people who actually put climate change at the forefront of their agenda. It’s now time for us all to be really pushy.
Hah, well at least it’s a healthy option!
Cereal is also the best to snack on.
Fancy! We always bring them on camp, the kids love them
It’s true, but also quite damning of our whole political system. I just think we’re well past the point of party politics with this issue, it all needs putting aside and we need to see real change.
