Does the ‘local’ tab just refer to posts from your home instance, eg; .world?
I had Reddit for almost 10 years, yet in the <1 month that I’ve started using alternatives I’ve already posted/commented more. Not sure why it it feels more enjoyable engaging in discusison on the Reddit alternatives, but it’s probably the lower user levels creating a nicer environment.
“This.” These comments add nothing to the discussion. I get that people want to show their support an argument/content, but that’s what upvotes are for. If you want to show your support for something, then at least try to think of something worthwhile to add to the discussion while expressing your support.
