“permanent offline downloads”
How can anyone offer that?
“permanent offline downloads”
How can anyone offer that?
I guess the fun part is sharing them, there’s where youtube lives
Yeah, but can any of those play the saves I already have on my computer??
What about magnetic tape? Isn’t it like super durable?
But that isn’t the job of the terminal, but the shell, isn’t it? I don’t know how they’d do that, but it feels like they’d have to assume a lot of stuff. On top of that, if you use multiplexers like tmux or embeded terminals like in emacs, for example, you’d most probably lose some of the features.
I don’t get how we need anything else than just a terminal that is fast, supports 256 colors (or true color, if you’re feeling fancy,) and changing the font.
Unless you can monetize those 20 seconds like crazy
And they’re gonna charge money for that!
Not an expert, but what I understand is that x86 has microops, and each instruction is decomposed into microops by the microcode. These microops can then be executed many at the same time by the multiple “ALUs” (not strictly speaking ALUs).
Maybe someone else can correct me or expand a bit.
other car manufacturers realized that would be detrimental to their business
Ummm do they? I don’t care enough about cars to remember the details, but I’m sure I’ve heard some controversies about safety for at least a couple of brands
Yeah, and imagine being on Lemmy and people post ads for Instagram
Absolutely, although ORAS was also pretty cool, I think
I haven’t had any issues ever on stable.
So all afected people were potential targets?
No, they’re literally saying the same thing
I don’t know, I guess you can make it up, but that noise could be caused by fatigue, stress or plain lack of good sleep, in my experience.
It’s possible that you need to rest a bit. I’d suggest trying to note if you hear that more often when you’re tired.
In other hand, my gf has tinnitus and she finds it hard to hear anything that’s quiet, like if the sound was actually there. Maybe that’s another thing you could test, but I don’t really know how it works.
This is gonna be wild. Imagine a bot giving away pictures or information you sent in dms
What year is this? 1984?
Haven’t used neovim, but I had to try vim way too many times. I can’t use anything else now.
Oh I thought they meant having the content permanently available for download, which is impossible. Thanks for the clarification!
