I doubt whoever made the virus could even hack my runescape account because I lost access to it almost every week due to a very weak password and me telling all the kids at school my username and password.

If you go by my job then it works out to about $15 an hour. That’s my wage x hours worked per day \ 24. But that’s not very useful since there are stituations where i choose to spend my time instead of hire a professional “less”.

But personally I value my time differently based on the activity. If I like the activity my time is worth very little but if I hate the activity it can be expensive. I’d rather spend 3 days figuring out how to do something myself than hire a professional because I find the process of learning and DIY to be very fun and fulfilling. But at the same time I’d rather pay to have my house cleaned even though it would be easy and cheaper for me to clean it myself.

If the request is helping a friend in need then my time is free no matter how much I hate the activity.

Good, privacy is why they are being used. The government has plenty of legal ways to invade a person’s privacy, perhaps they should consider using them.

They are fishing for crypto so they target people who are likely to hold crypto and be stupid enough to fall for the scam. Using a video of Elon or space x is a perfect way to attract this demographic.

I’ve owned apple devices in the past. The thing I hate most is the ecosystem, it’s so limited and simple to the point of frustration. They are missing basic features and customization options. Apple has the worst settings menu of any device I’ve ever used. If that wasn’t bad enough the devices are incredibly over priced.

How is that not consistent though? If someone’s argument is windows is usable because it takes to long to disable analytics the argument isn’t invalidated by them configuring Linux for 1000 hours. Linux comes out of the box with no analytics so they would only be inconsistent if they spent that 1000 hours trying to disable Linux analytics. I enjoy configuring Linux but I do not enjoy configuring my system to be malware free.

People who spend that much time configuring linux are doing it for fun. Majority of people switching to linux have a working install setup in less time than it takes to install windows

I updated my family members pc to windows 11 a few weeks ago and it wouldn’t let me login without a Microsoft account. That was insane to me.

I don’t think Biden did that bad. Sure he slipped up once or twice but he answered every question with a relevant policy that he implemented as well as bringing up what they were trying to do next. He was able to speak clearly and reasonably.

Trumps response to questions was to dodge and lie. I don’t know how anyone can walk away thinking both sides were equal or worse that trump “won”.

When I see posts saying Biden was a bumbling idiot in the debate I wonder if the person even watched the debate.
