The late financier apparently hoped his association with the noted black hole theorist would help him battle child sex-trafficking allegations, newly unsealed records show

Call it a brief history of slime.

Jeffrey Epstein apparently hoped that his association with Stephen Hawking — and the improbable notion that the famed physicist would engage in an “orgy” — would him help battle child sex-trafficking allegations, newly unsealed court records show.

In a typo-riddled email made public on Wednesday night, the late pedophile financier told his since-convicted accomplice, onetime British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, to try to pay off people close to accuser Virginia Giuffre.

“You can issue a reward to any of virginias friends acquaionts family that come forward and prove her allegations are false,” he wrote on Jan. 12, 2015.

I think epstein intentionally associated with as many famous folks as he could. Get photos, take them on a plane trip, take them to the island. All the while feel them out and if rebuffed then play it off as a misunderstanding but if not then hey its a payday. Meanwhile he obfuscates his clients and possibly has a neo blackmail type thing or at least a thing where folks in power who might go after him realize they had hung out with him and look bad so are inclined to not pursue. Its genius really.

His side gig was being a creep sex trafficker. The main thing he did was be a power broker. If you are somebody powerful and want to do some shady shit he’ll get you in contact with the right people. Also if you want to diddle some kids he’ll help with that too.

yeah but thats what I mean. if someone does not go for shady shit you still invite them to stuff or whatever no strings attached. That way no one can tell who you are doing shady stuff with and who was just around. He could even pretend he is still wooing them for whatever their specialty is. Like he needed whatever a professor was working on or some connection some politician had. It just makes sense to me to pad as many famous faces as you can into the equation.

Stephen Hawking is just another philanderer himself, so it’s not like this really helps Epstein’s case.

    Same with Bill Gates.

He cheated on his first wife with his nurse who was significantly younger than him?

        I said philanderer, not pedophile.

Epstein held Hawking up as proof he wasn’t scummy, implying high moral character of Hawking and by extension, himself.

All I am saying is Hawking was pretty scummy and so its a weak defense.

At least Hawking provided something to society.

The sooner we forget Epstein’s name*, the better.

          • Forget his name, but not the fact he didn’t kill himself.

Was he expecting Hawking to produce a wall of equations and hand-wave a proof that age is relative, and thus it is mathematically impossible for anyone to be underage?
