Williams, who is expected to face a tough reelection, was under fire after a student journalist posted a video of the lawmaker confronting Michael Gordon, one of the two former staffers, outside of a holiday party.

In the video, Williams gets up in Gordon’s face as he tells him, “You fuck with my family, I’ll end every relationship that you have. Every single friend. Do you understand me?”

Is it possible the alleged threats precipitated that incident?
