*** Giveaway two : Batman: Arkham City - Game of the Year Edition ***
It’s nice of you to do these.
I played Arkham Asylum, which I think was the first in the series. I haven’t finished it, but it was pretty fun. It did seem like a reasonably good representation of the Bat’s style. Is one of the series generally considered the best? This one (Arkham City) looks rather different that the one I played.
City improves on a lot of the batman mechanics and the variety of enemies goes up. I think it’s the better of the two.
However, it is a very different game, moving from a metroidvania inspired small locale to a big open world. If you don’t like traversing/exploring open worlds you might find it to be a downgrade. If you do, it’s a blast and moving around the city is an absolute joy.
I’m mostly through Spider-Man (not the newest one) and traveling the city is my favorite part of the game! In the old PS2 Spiderman it was the same.
haven’t used signal or element but would like the game since it is steam deck compliant :)
no problem. I can email as well!
I’d love to check out one of the Batman games. I’ve heard the fighting mechanics are solid.
I’ve played all the Batman games so I can’t enter in good faith, but thanks for doing this and good luck to those who wish to win!
I’ll try to join for the Middle Earth games if I spot them in the future giveaways.
I would love a batman game. I have never played batman on any device ever and I hope it runs on my steam deck! I hope it will work in europe XD
I am pretty sure it would work, but I wanted to nate it just in case.
Changed it back to 2 days duration as interest is waning. Just a few hours left!
Either of the middle earth games would be lovely. I had battle for middle earth years ago.
To be clear, this giveaway is for Batman: Arkham City - Game of the Year Edition. Middle earth games will be later. Do you want to enter this one?
Thanks, I’m good on this one. I already have the batman games
I’ll keep an eye out for the middle earth ones to enter those
I played the first two, but not Arkham Knight.
I’ve heard a lot of good thing about the batmobile addition in it and would love to use this opportunity to test it out :)
Never touched the “shadow of…” license but heard a lot of good as well. Curious to try them out as well (even if batman probably more my thing).
I put a decent amount of time into shadow of mordor but didn’t finish the story. The combat is fun and dynamic, there’s lots of vertical traversal, assaulting strongholds is pretty cool. The nemesis system is silly but fun, it adds a lot of personality.
Giveaway over! I will be contacting the winner shortly.
