I wanna get back into Pokemon. Recently I’ve started playing a ROM hack of Emerald called Sigma Emerald that makes all Pokemon catchable, it’s been fun. However I really wanna get into more vanilla play. The most recent game I’ve played is when I played Platinum as a kid. Legends Arceus looks really fun, but I don’t have a switch. I’d buy one, but I don’t wanna end up not liking the switch games. Kinda stuck between a switch or a 3ds.
Where do you guys think I should enter into the newer eraa of Pokemon with?
Thank you for the write up! It’s been hard to find write ups that include the more recent releases. Legends Arceus seems to be the most compelling single release to me, it really looks like everything I’ve ever wanted out of a Pokemon game. However I’m split because Hoenn has been my favorite region for the longest time so ORAS is also super appealing. I plan on getting both consoles at some point, but it’s so hard to choose a game to start back up on when I haven’t played since I was a kid with Platinum, Emerald, and Soul Silver. I pretty much got hit with the perfect 3 game run that gives me so much nostalgia.
