Could this be solved with serving them the exact same dinner in larger portions? ie is it about the food itself, changing his preferred taste or increased hunger?

Or is it a dominance behaviour? (I’m a cat person but the cats always were adopted/grew up together or came to me as an only cat. So I don’t have personal experience with introducing new cats.)

Maybe the boys need to be fed the exact same thing, have both flavours halved between them, or be separated at mealtime.

in the past Bill wouldn’t eat tinned cat food and Ted doesn’t like Bill’s fresh meat. So Bill is really being out of character here. It’s Bill being a shit head.

But yes, I am going to give them exactly the same from now on. If Bill doesn’t want it , too bad.

He’s jealous and insecure. His mum is feeding a new guy! He steals the dinner to fill a strange emptiness in his heart.
