Croc Remaster: New Versions Announced, Release Delayed

We previously reported on the announcement of an upcoming remaster of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, reporting on the GOG exclusive and the physical Collector’s Editions.Over the past couple of days, the game’s developer, Argonaut Games have taken to X to issue two updates regarding the release.The first update was announcing new version of the game’s Collector’s Edition, in addition to the Switch and PS5 versions, which were previously announced. These versions of the game will include a digital code for the game for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or PC, along with a DVD case including a full
  • New Collector’s Editions: The Collector’s Editions for the Croc remaster now include a digital code for PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions.
  • Contents of the Collector’s Edition: An eight-inch Croc statue with an authenticity certificate, a four-disc original soundtrack, a keychain, and a double-sided poster.
  • Release Delay: The remaster’s release has been delayed to ensure that the final product meets high standards.

…the decision was not made lightly… a little more time is needed to add the final touches to ensure the game meets the high standards that [they] aspire to, and which you deserve.
