In a conversation when I get excited and have complex ideas to share but when I try to say them I have the vocabulary and speaking abilities of a 5 year old.Has anyone found any relief from this from medication or therapy?
Read more books. Seriously. Having a fresh batch of words to draw upon helps me a lot.
I find that shaking my hands frustratedly while repeating the placeholder word at a higher frequency helps people understand
what I’m trying to sayto talk to me later
