I can read someone blaming a victim for not coming forward about her sexual assault sooner quite well, thank you.
Hopefully in the future sexual assault victims will include enlightened centrists like gronolabar over here in the discussion on when would be an appropriate time to come out with their stories of assault. It’s high time we include more uninvolved but passionate individuals from across the political spectrum in these messy painful conversations.
Kudos gronolabar, continue to inject your opinions and baseless accusations into the conversation, you’re doing god’s work 🙏
What I love is that they just accused me of playing politics by saying it’s up to her to decide when to tell her story. What the actual fuck?
They probably accused you of playing politics by providing cover for a potential game involving rape claims and the election. Conflating that with victim blaming is shameful.
He was found to have raped E. Jean Carroll in court months ago. Is another accusation really going to make a difference now? The people voting for trump have already decided that rape isn’t a dealbreaker.
Fuck granolabar… But we got komissars onnduty here…
Yall too much
You are playing politics, i hope you are paid for it
No. No I am not. That is a lie. Playing politics is blaming a sexual assault victim for not coming forward sooner because it would have had an effect on an earlier election.
I am literally saying that politics is irrelevant to when she should feel ready to come forward with her story. It’s her story to tell when she feels like it.
I genuinely hope that no one you care about has been sexually assaulted, but if they have, I think you might talk to them about whether or not they would have only told people about it when it was politically expedient to do so rather than when they felt psychologically ready to do so.
This is shameless
Please do explain how it is “shameless” to say that it’s the victim’s choice when she gets to come forward.
Please stop.
No, sorry, I won’t stop advocating for sexual assault victims. I know too many of them.
You’re pretending to advocate for victims because it provides cover for your politics. Whether or not you’ll stop doesn’t make it right.
If this was to cover for my politics, I would be saying exactly the opposite.
You and the other person make absolutely no sense.
