Republican vice-presidential candidate Senator JD Vance continues to stoke outrage against foreign-born members of his own constituency, sharing video footage with his 1.9 million social media followers that he claimed showed African migrants in Dayton, Ohio “eating cats” — but instead appears to show nothing more than poultry cooking on an outdoor grill.
“Kamala Harris and her media apparatchiks should be ashamed of themselves,” Vance posted Saturday on X, the social network formerly known as Twitter. “Another ‘debunked’ story that turned out to have merit.”
Vance has claimed, falsely, in recent days that Haitians — who are not Africans — living in Springfield — a town of 58,000 which is not Dayton — were stealing, killing, and consuming their neighbors’ pets.
Because it is?
Either it’s definitely a distraction or we have no idea what they actually think. You can’t have it both ways.
So we agree that we have no idea. If so, then I can have my theory, and you can have yours, and neither of us knows which is right, and then you can stop trying to assert mine is wrong and I will just put my theory out there and you can put yours out there.
Oh, now it’s just a theory that it was a distraction. You did not make that clear. In fact, you stated it as if it were fact many times.
Also, my “theory” is that they are being very racist. Which I have stated multiple times. Are you saying I’m wrong and they’re not being racist?
I’m more interested in pointing out that your argumentation is not constructive, when it could be…and as a result I’m not interested in spending the time responding to such argumentatio, you may be right, but you sure don’t make me want to listen and consider your view point objectively when it’s wrapped the way you are doing it.
Funny, you’ve spent a whole lot if time on it so far.
Not really, but thanks for thinking of me
