Hi. I will be at Pax and I am excited. Suggestions welcome
Ooh I’ll be showing off my booth! I got a spot in the indie section for my Musical comedy RPG Game Over, but as a solo dev it’s a bit nerve racking. If you come find me and mention Lemmy I’ll give you whatever merch I have. If I don’t have merch I might have to give you the computer or something, just to keep my word.
Will definitely pay you a visit!
I think I saw your game at pax but forgot to say hi. Hope you had a great time
Oh thank you! I had a great time, I didn’t expect as many people to come through and play it. I had set up carnival music to entice players, but never got a chance to use it as there was always a line, which was neat. Which game at PAX was your favourite?
I didn’t spend as much time as I wanted to at the indie section, but the game where you roll around as a roly poly was insanely fun. And there were a bunch of really fun vr games.
Kill knight was also a ton of fun but I’m biased because it was made at the studio I work at 😅.
Indie games, tabletop and classic consoles, as usual. And any dev related seminars or group events.
Is there much of a retro/collector’s presence at PAX? I’ve only been once, in the before COVID times when it was still finding its feet.
Hell yeah there is, an entire section dedicated to retro and collectors. Still remember playing halo 2 split screen on an og xbox with a group of random people and it was so fun.
I can’t go but if I was it would be the Mario kart competition lounge all day. Love that game
Yamaha Music Australia will probably be there. Go check them out because I used to work for them.
Omg thank you! This is a good suggestion
