New York will become the second state to ban hotels from having mini plastic bottles for personal care items like shampoo and lotion.

    1. It’s necessarily going to be less plastic due to the square-cube law
    2. The minimum is now 12 oz (~350 ml), which is unlikely to be implemented as having one container per guest. I bet most hotels will start leaning towards reusable containers, promoting overall increased efficiency, at the cost of guests not being able to claim a small amount of free shampoo to bring with them from their stay.
