The defence acknowledged that the presence of a young child at the scene made the incident “particularly unsavoury”.

As someone with Asperger’s who has never thrown a bucket at a family with an 8 year old child, threatened them with a 3" knife, or screamed at them to move out I think that the fact that he is an autist is just about as irrelevant as the fact that he has toes.
