…I had my first real Philly Cheese Steak sandwich in Philadelphia. This is a love letter to the sandwich of sandwiches!

You’ve never had bacon? With that kind of a buildup don’t just eat cheap bacon, there are grades of it. Get the best. There is disappointing bacon… Like most of the stuff that comes prepackaged at the store.

Please never do that. They do serve bacon but it’s sad bacon. If there is a local burger place that has amazing ratings they probably have good bacon.

King Soopers/Kroger/City Market (in the US) has thick cut smoked bacon behind the glass in the meat department and that’s what I’d recommend starting with. It’s pretty easy to cook and you can get a slice or two at a time instead of a whole package.

I look forward to hearing how it went and what you think! I’m all excited now for a first time bacon test.

Lol understood. And no pressure if you decide to go without. I have a few friends in India who say the same thing but can’t get themselves to try pork and I get it.

I guessed, of all the regions I’ve worked with people in that’s the region where it’s hard to do.

I worked in BPO for a long time and have friends on every continent but Antarctica, and in all but India pork and beef are easy to come by. So I got a lucky guess 😆
