It makes them look weak. Removing a mod all it does is to remove a disclaimer.

It doesn’t make them look weak at all. You need to dial back the stubborn machismo, and reconsider what being strong is.

A company that realizes the choices they made decades ago were inappropriate, and adds an apology later is strong.

Standing up and speaking out against someone who goes out of their way to promote sand share racism, is strong.

Getting upset because you agree with the racism and you don’t like people telling you that you’re the bad guy, and needing to remove all evidence that you’re a piece of shit is weak.

Be better. Don’t confuse being cruel and stubborn with strength.

Lmao, it doesn’t make them look weak. It makes them look strong – standing up against subtle bigotry and dogwhistles despite potential backlash?

      I’d say that’s strong.

Someone trying to make a mod (that reproduces built-in functionality) to use as a platform to essentially promote racism? That’s incredibly weak. It screams “I can’t handle people or companies being more socially aware than me”.

And then whining about it on social media? That’s also weak. Host it yourself (not you specifically) if making that mod is so important to you.

But punching down is never “strong”. It’s always weak. That mod is punching down. Making that mod is punching down. Wanting or using that mod is punching down. Weak.
