minus-squareCaptDust@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up7·9 months agoWobbly windows are cool, but have you tried the effect that burns up the window when you close it? That one is lit
minus-squareCaptain Aggravated@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6·9 months agoYeah that effect is fire.

minus-squareCaptDust@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up4·edit-29 months agoOh yeah, party time. Edit- really wow this is much more advanced, many next level effects
minus-squareKrokanteBamischijf@feddit.nllinkfedilinkarrow-up3·9 months agoWow that’s a cool idea, though the fire shader has some room for improvement. If only some of those VFX shader developers from the gaming industry found their way to this project… Will definitely give this a try next time I use a GNOME DE.

minus-squareAdrianTheFrog@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·9 months agosomething like this would be really neat if you could have it interact with the borders of your other windows
minus-squareKrokanteBamischijf@feddit.nllinkfedilinkarrow-up2·9 months agoHaha that’s a way to do it. Awesome visuals though this is probably more CPU heavy than it’s worth for the use case of destroying application windows. Not sure if simulating every active window is a good idea either. What if you accidentally set fire to your Facebook page?
minus-squaredan@upvote.aulinkfedilinkarrow-up0·edit-29 months agoI used to do it with Beryl and Compiz close to 20 years ago, so I assume there’s a modern version available.
minus-squareLoudWaterHombre@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·9 months agoI used compiz fusion. Sadly it appears to not be available anymore.
minus-squareSybil@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up0arrow-down1·9 months agocompiz and emerald are still in the debian repos.
