I’ve been using Tutanota for a while now. Been interested in people’s opinions about Tutanota and Protonmail.

    I went with ProtonMail because it is based in a non-five eyes country… Plus it was launched by CERN scientists - major geek coolness factor. Recently upgraded to the basic paid tier.

      Being launched by CERN scientists shouldn’t be a deciding factor.

      But yes, Proton is as safe as it gets.
